Proof & Revisions

Every printed FERNFAWN portrait includes a proof before print.

PROOF TIMING

We usually send your proof within 1-2 business days, depending on order volume and photo quality.

HOW THE PROOF WORKS

You receive your proof via email. Review it carefully. You can either approve the design or request specific changes. Nothing goes to print until you give your approval.

REVISIONS

Your order includes 2 complimentary revision rounds.

Examples of revisions: adjustments to cropping, colour balance, positioning, background, clothing details, or other refinements within the existing design direction.

Major changes (a new reference photo, a completely different portrait style, or a full composition redesign) may require additional time and may be reviewed as a separate artwork request.

Each revision round is delivered within 1-2 business days.

IF YOU DO NOT RESPOND

If we do not hear from you within 48 hours of sending your proof, we send a reminder email. If no response is received within 48 hours of the reminder, the proof may be considered approved and production will begin. This prevents indefinite order delays.

If you need more time, simply reply to the proof email and let us know. We are happy to wait.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER APPROVAL

Once you approve your proof, production begins immediately. Changes are no longer possible after approval. This is why we encourage you to review carefully and request all changes before clicking approve.

IF WE CANNOT MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS

If after revisions we cannot create a portrait that works for you, we issue a full refund before printing. We would rather refund you than deliver something you are not happy with.
